Glossary

A node is any piece of individual content, such as a page, poll, article, forum topic, or a blog entry.

All content on a Drupal website is stored and treated as "nodes".

Taxonomies classify website content by associating taxonomy terms with specific content. The website content can then be organized, filtered or displayed with a View based on the taxonomy.

 A listing of content based on criteria the content owner decides, using a taxonomy.  Example:  page with a view of just glossary terms.
